The Division of Engineering and Buildings (DEB) sets policies and procedures for and generally oversees the Commonwealth’s design and construction programs. The Division acts as the Building Code Official for all facilities constructed on state-owned property. It operates and maintains about 6.45 million square feet of buildings and grounds at the seat of government to include the Governor’s Mansion and the State Capitol.
